Senior Java/Oracle Developer (Software Solutions)

Description:

Nexius is currently hiring a Senior Java / Oracle Developer to join our team in Kansas City.  This position is part of our Software Solutions group.

Required experience includes:

• Experience in the telecom and/or wireless industries is required.
• 7+ years of experience in Java programming language utilizing an Oracle Database on Unix based servers.
• Working knowledge of Apache web server configuration and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently or under supervision of Engineering Lead.
• Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology.
• Ability to multi-task.

Preferred but not required:

• Understanding of wide area networking with focus on routing and switching
