LTE RF Design Engineer (Network Engineering)

Location: Dallas and Seattle

Nexius is searching for LTE RF Design Engineers. The engineers will be responsible for providing LTE RF design services to Nexius clients located in Dallas TX or Seattle WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Engineering Services and Technical Support to Nexius Clients
  • Propagation Modeling
  • LTE Network Propagation Simulation and Analysis using Planet EV or Atoll
  • LTE Parameter (TAC, PCI, PRACH etc.) Definition
  • Cell Planning
  • Cell Site Evaluation
  • Link Budget Analysis
  • Frequency Planning
  • Traffic Analysis
  • Demographic Analysis
  • BSS Parameter Specification
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (Masters preferred)
  • 3 or more years of experience in RF Engineering
  • Sound Experience in Wireless Network Planning
  • Experience with 2 or more Technologies such as LTE, WiMAX, 1xEVDO, 1xRTT, CDMA, UMTS, GSM and iDEN
  • 1 or more years of Experience Working with Mentum Planet EV and/or Forsk Atoll Tools
  • Experience in LTE Design is required
  • Sound Understanding of LTE Standards, Technologies, Parameters and Techniques
  • Ability to Quickly Learn New Technologies, Processes and Tools
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills and Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Detail Orientation, Flexibility and Adaptability, High Energy Level, Analytical Abilities, Team Player, Positive Personal Presence, Technical Focus
