Nexius Announces New Corporate Divisions and Mobile Network Operator Customers at CTIA Wireless 2010
CTIA Wireless, Las Vegas, Nevada — Nexius Inc., the leader in intelligent network services and solutions for the communications industry, today announced the successful launch of two new corporate divisions and several major customer acquisitions this year. The company is expanding on their current successful Technology and Network Engineering services divisions to publicly launch new Network Deployment and Operational Support Systems (OSS) Services divisions. These new divisions expand on the current Nexius service offerings which the company delivers to a growing list of companies, including three new international tier one mobile network operator customers that the company plans to name publicly later this year.

In the past year, Nexius achieved record revenue and new customer deployment levels, including recent deployments at a tier one US mobile network operator, three new international tier one mobile operators, a tier one US cable operator, and a major OEM vendor. The launch of the new OSS Services division and Network Deployment division will enable Nexius to continue to offer their network operator customers with the strategic insight necessary to differentiate their network performance in the market.
The new OSS Services division is led by Mafa Amr, who held previous management positions at Windward IT Solutions and Booz Allen Hamilton. The Nexius OSS Services division now offers a wide variety of services to improve Nexius customers’ revenues through service roll out and application integration. It also increases operational efficiencies through OSS assessment and roadmap planning, tools design and deployment services, and managed services. This division has already successfully secured a multi-million dollar project for custom development of an element management system and has successfully penetrated the cable market.
The new Network Deployment division is led by Matthew Glass, who previously led a national deployment operation of over 400 employees while serving as a vice president for Wireless Facilities, Inc. The Nexius Network Deployment division supports companies through the full stages of site development. This division has already successfully secured multi-million dollar contracts and is operational in multiple markets.
Unlike typical services organizations, Nexius’ divisions leverage the company’s XPLORE data analysis managers as well as custom-built applications for aggregating data from disparate points across the network. Several of the largest operators in both EMEA and North America rely on a combination of Nexius’ XPLORE Managers and strategic consultation to gain valuable insight into their network and improve their services offerings.
