Lead Data Analyst
Overview
Nexius has an opportunity in the software applications organization for an experienced technical data analyst with experience analyzing data sources and writing interface requirements documents to support data adapters for a Nexius software platform.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Interfacing with customers to understand technical data requirements
- Working with customer to understand options for obtaining the required data
- Evaluating data feed options and determining which best meets the needs of the customer and the Nexius software platform
- Manipulating data (text files, database, etc.) to evaluate suitability
- Writing data interface documents detailing the data formats and key values to retrieve to meet customer and platform needs
- Managing team of junior data analysts
Education
- 7-10 years of experience as a business / technical data analyst
Skills
- Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and technical ability • Proven innovation skills
- Proven management skills
- Must have experience working with SQL databases
- Must have experience manipulating text files
- Must have experience interfacing with customers and writing technical software requirements documents
- Wireless telecom experience is a plus
Education
- Technical undergraduate degree
