Creative Marketing Manager
Overview
Nexius is currently experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a talented creative minded individual to join our Marketing organization. This individual would report to the Director of Product and Field Marketing and lead the creative development of customer facing materials such as Sales presentations, collateral, architecture diagrams, training media, advertising pieces, website flash components, etc. In addition this individual would assist in marketing campaign development and tracking, as well as marketing communications functions such as press release creation, advertising, trade show execution, and more. Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and executing creative treatments in accordance with brand standards for product marketing materials (print product collateral, PowerPoint presentations, architecture diagrams); electronic promotions (e-ads, bulletins); general advertising (trade mag ads, trade show booths); and Web (banners, graphics, Flash presentations, etc.) as well as illustrations or diagrams for technical user, product and training guides or animations
- Develop and execute creative treatments for product brochures and other printed products
- Collaborate with appropriate sales, marketing and product subject matter experts to refine needs assessments, timelines and budget parameters.
- Assist with the creation and copywriting for marketing materials, including press releases, Web site text, sales proposals, and other marketing collateral
- Assist with execution of integrated marketing plans and timelines to support corporate growth objectives through branding, increased awareness and lead generation
- Assist in campaign creation, management and tracking
- Assist in lead generation, management and tracking
- Conduct market research and perform competitive analysis
- Maintain the marketing 'library' of marketing literature, manage inventory of materials
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in marketing communications, creative design, or equivalent • Bachelor's degree in marketing, art, fine art, design, graphics, mass/multimedia, or comparable program.
- Superior design skills honed over a minimum of three years with an agency or corporate design team;
- Mastery over use of color, layout and typography to achieve marketing objectives; consistent delivery of work products on time and within budget; portfolio required.
- Proven ability to interact and collaborate with marketing, sales, copywriting and product subject matter experts
- Proficient working with creative design software such as (QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign); Web and presentation-based protocols (Captivate, HTML, XML, Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, Javascript and PPT); Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); equal proficiency using PCs and Macs.
