Coverage Analysis
The Coverage Analysis module is very handy for the wireless carriers that want to plot different map coverage layers based on various prediction models and tools. By overlaying the layers, they can compare the various models.
The coverage module can also be linked to other modules such as Drive Test/Benchmarking or Census data and Retail stores so that the Business Intelligence layer of Xplore™ correlates the data sets and provide reach features such as:
Trending and forecasting of coverage by geography and month as new technology is rolled out - Population covered by zip code, county, state (or other map boundaries)
- Retails stores and offices covered by coverage type (no coverage, on street, sub urban, urban…)
- Track over time to determine when store will receive adequate in-building coverage
- Compare drive test results to coverage predictions (binned data)
- Highlight locations where drive test data is more than 5 dB from prediction
