Key Duties:

• Design & development of database modules.
• Reviewing functional requirements & creating detailed designs for software sub-systems.
• Conduct unit and integration testing.
• Work with QA team to ensure high software quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus on the critical issues while maintaining a view of the end to end picture.
• Proven innovation skills.
• Strong analytical and technical ability with Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in software development involving databases.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working on Oracle 10g.
• Hands-on experience working on database development, Oracle in particular.
• Must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
• Java.
• Writing stored procedures in PL/SQL.
• Oracle views & materialized views.
• Table partitioning.
• Database normalization.


• Experience working on Oracle 10g RAC.
• Experience working on warehouse projects dealing with large (terabytes) of data.
• Experience working on any industry standard ETL tool would be nice to have.
• Experience working on any industry standard BI tool would be nice to have.
• Experience working on any industry standard Data Mining tool would be nice to have.
